Hello All! Some of you may know that this school year has been my first year as a resource specialist. Many of my students’ and their family are spanish speaking. I have decided to embark on an exciting adventure to Peru this summer, so that I may improve and learn more spanish, as well as donate my time teaching children ages 8-13 soccer! I am going to be participating in a volunteer exhange program called The Humanity Exchange. I will be based in Lima, Peru. I will be staying with a host family, while I attend spanish classes and work with the children. I will be volunteering with an organization in Lima called Jovenes de Buena Voluntad.
